Our Ladies side formed in 2019 – after a special request from Nicole Raffermati after she’d seen the game played by some of our mens players. From this time onwards we’ve grown as a side tremendously and have featured twice on BT sport!

Since the formation we’ve been lucky to have retained some of the players since we began including Rachael Mumford, Kim Stammers, Emily Wall, Amy Magnus and Kate Saunders.

We also have had players leave the club and continue their Futsal journey elsewhere in Nicole Raffermati and Lou McCay, who have both signed for Stevenage Futsal for the 22/23 season. We were delighted we could be a part of their futsal Journey and even happier to see they’ve continued playing this great sport!

Megan Read is our captain and she had this to say about the club “Futsal for me is a much more enjoyable game than Football, it’s faster, more tactical and develops me technically each and every session. As a team we’ve gone from strength to strength and the best is yet to come from Bedford Ladies”.

In the 2022/2023 season our ladies finished second behind Stevenage Futsal Club by the singular point. They also ran Helvecia ladies close, twice, in a two legged cup game losing by the singular goal in either game. Despite not winning the division we feel it is our best season to date in terms of performance but also the most enjoyable – this is what it is all about!
